So-net continues to pursue its vision of an enjoyable network society filled with dreams.

Since launching its Internet connection service in 1996, So-net has proposed new ideas for the Internet in services such as "PostPet", and has consistently made its own unique contribution to the Internet community.

So-net seeks to provide "entertainment" via networks to the largest possible number of people.

Although the business environment surrounding the network business is expected to become increasingly challenging, So-net is aiming to expand the scale of its ISP business in Japan. In addition, So-net is committed to action that will improve customer satisfaction and encourage longer use of So-net services by offering services to solve any problems with internet access and to help organize a home network including wireless LAN routers, internet-ready TVs, and game consoles, etc.

Meanwhile, we named a new business segment including online games and advertising as a media & entertainment business. We are aiming to develop the online gaming business of Gamepot as our future core business and to provide new entertainment using our strengths in areas such as our character business. In the advertising business, So-net Media Networks will focus on ad networks as its main business, and through this we will seek business growth.

As the company that makes networks enjoyable, So-net is committed to providing our customers with convenient, enjoyable and dream-filled network entertainment.
